Jesus Loves You

Jesus Loves You

Accepting Jesus into our hearts brings about a transformative change in our lives. The Bible teaches us that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are born again and become a new creation. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, it says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

This change involves a deepening of our relationship with God, a newfound sense of purpose and direction, and the presence of the Holy Spirit within us to guide and empower us. We are filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, as Galatians 5:22-23 tells us.

Accepting Jesus also brings us the assurance of eternal life and the hope of being reconciled with God. Our lives are transformed as we strive to live according to God's will and grow in faith, love, and obedience to Him.

Ultimately, accepting Jesus into our hearts changes our lives by offering us forgiveness, redemption, and a new way of living in relationship with God and others.

This is a simple prayer but it changed my life:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I come to you just as I am. I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died for my sins. I ask for your forgiveness and invite you into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. In your name, I pray, Amen."

Dear Father God, I know I’m a sinner. Thank You for loving me so much that you sent Your begotten Son to die for me. Jesus paid the price for my sins, past, present, and future. I confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Thank you for raising Jesus from the dead, making me righteous and in right standing with You. Thank you for eternal life in Christ Jesus. Amen!

“According to the Bible, there is joy in heaven when one is saved, as stated in Luke 15:7

  • Luke 15:7

"I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent".

  • Luke 15:10

"There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents".

This verse conveys that God loves lost people, searches for them, and rejoices when they find Him. It also suggests that God rejoices over the salvation of each person who repents of their sins and acknowledges Him as their Savior.”
